9 -Day Murchison, Queen Elizabeth, Lake Mburo Safari
This safari allows you to explore diversity wildlife in Uganda. Blessed with abundance of wildlife, beautiful scenery, different bird species and many more, Uganda is one of the best tourism destinations and in this Big Five Itinerary, we will take you for Rhino tracking at Ziwa, top of the falls hike at Murchison falls National Park, Game drives and Boat cruises at Murchison falls and Queen Elizabeth National Parks, Tree climbing lions at Ishasha and game drives at Lake Mburo National park.
Itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe/Kampala
Upon arrival in Entebbe you will be received by our friendly staff and transferred to your hotel in Kampala/ Entebbe. Accommodation at Aura Safaris and Mission Tours has been handpicked to ensure that our guests get the best experience and a taste of Uganda’s culture and hospitality after a long flight.

Day 2: Murchision Falls National Park
After morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked from your hotel and transferred to Murchison Falls National Park Uganda’s biggest natural reserve. The park is a habitat for big 4 game including elephants, buffaloes, lions and leopards. En route to Murchison falls you will have a stopover for about 2 to 3 hours at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Enjoy a guided nature walk in the sanctuary which brings you close with the endangered white rhinos. Continue on with your journey to Murchison falls. Upon arrival at the park late afternoon, you will connect to your lodge for relaxation and enjoy the sunset.

Day 3: Murchsion National Park
After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a morning game drive, and a ranger with extensive knowledge of the park will join you in your vehicle. On the drive you will be able to view a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, Uganda kobs, Rothschild giraffes, and oribis. As this is a private game drive you can ask your guide to tailor your trip towards specific birdlife and/or wildlife if you like. After the drive you will return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon you will proceed for a cruise along the Nile which will give you a view of Murchison Falls, which is a highlight of the day. On this private 3-hour journey you will pass by breathtaking scenery, as well as crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, water birds, monkeys and others that come down to the Nile. For your comfort, complimentary drinks will be served on-board. The boat will drop you near the waterfall for your hike up to the top of the falls. After which you will meet your driver who will transfer you back to your lodge

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast take the long journey to the top of Murchison falls. The thunderous spectacle and noise made by the water as it passes through the tiny hole is magnificent. The Nile River is about 50 meters wide on top just before the falls, it drops down 43 meters through a 7-meter-wide gorge. This scenic fall is one not to be missed by anyone. Once you have had Lunch you will continue you tour to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will reach in evening. You will check into you accommodation and enjoy the sunset.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, you will catch up with the early risers as your driver takes you for the morning game drive. It is an amazing experience to have great chances of spotting wild animals like; Buffalo, Uganda kob (Uganda national antelope), Elephants, Hippos, Lions, Leopards, water bucks, warthogs and many other wild animals.
After that excellent drive, you will return to your lodge for relaxation. After lunch, you will go for an amazing launch cruise on Kazinga Channel where you will have exciting and unforgettable memories. There also a water sail which provide a magnificent platform for photography taking and across the board game viewing. As you disembark from the boat cruise, you will be met your guide for the drive back to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning breakfast, prepare for a transfer to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park found in the southern end of the conservation area. This woodland sector famous for its tree climbing lions. On arrival you will check in at and your lunch, and in the afternoon enjoy a game drive at the Ishasha in search for unmatched prides of tree climbing lions offering a fascinating experiences due to uncommonness and later return to for Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Lake Mburo National Park
After your breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park. En route to the "whispers of the world", you will have a stop over at Mbarara town and there after proceed to the park. This park draws its beauty from the large herds of Zebras. As you enter the park, you will see the indigenous long horned Ankole cattle grazing along the way. Check in your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Lake Mburo National Park
Early in the morning you will go on a game drive through the park in search of wildlife. You will most likely see the Ugandan kob, zebras, impalas, elephants and buffaloes – just to mention a few! After the game drive you have lunch followed by a boat cruise on the lake. This ride will reward you with sights of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and zebras. After which you will return to the lodge to relax.

Day 9: Kampala/Entebbe
Have a relaxed breakfast at the accommodation with a spectacular view from the lodge. Then begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe as you view beautiful scenery along the way. You will have lunch en route and Stopover at the Equator where you can take Photographs. Thereafter proceed to Entebbe for your onward flight.
